In March of 2008 they celebrated the third anniversary of purchasing the Wine Kitz franchise for Regina by opening their second store at 4415 Rochdale Boulevard. Says Dave,

“This a very special anniversary. We are opening the new store at 4415 Rochdale Boulevard in order to better service this dynamic and growing area of the city and our rural customers. The grand opening of the new location is a major investment in providing new and innovative services to our clients in Regina and the south Saskatchewan market place.”

 

Wine making today allows customers to make wines that are similar to the quality of commercial wines. You will find only top-quality wine kits and ingredients in-store, and because of this, everything is guaranteed. Dave and his staff believe that they have a partnership with their customers, and that they are responsible for making sure you choose products which will meet your tastes.

The Regina Wine Kitz stores have been prominent in the development of many new and innovative products such as Condo Kits, 7-Day accelerator kits, Big & Easy beer, whole wort beers from Paddock Wood Brewing, and custom labels.

Wine Kitz is also at the forefront in working with the Minister of Liquor and Gaming & the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority to develop the protocols for U Vint operations. U Vint systems allow customers to produce their own wine at a retail outlet, rather than at home. “We would do the heavy work,” says Dave. “The customer starts the wine and at the end, they come in, bottle it, take it home and enjoy it.” The company’s new store, located in the Rochdale Crossing Mall on the southwest corner of Rochdale Boulevard and Pasqua Street, has been built to accommodate a U Vint service.

Dave and Leona attribute the success of Wine Kitz locally to several factors: knowledgeable staff, certified wine consultants, superior customer service and the business’s support of the community. The company donates time, product and expertise to many local charities and organizations. “We take customer service to the nth degree – we go the extra mile with our customers,” says Dave.
